Taiwan financial sector rules are hilariously stupid.
They literally dispositioned Mediatek, one of their largest companies lmfao.
It's like if the US stopped letting people buy $GOOGL because the stock went up.
Then that caused Google's stock dropped after.
Wouldn't they want their companies to appreciate in value, so their economy benefits?
Especially during one of their largest bull-runs from the semi sector, it's actually hindering their own growth where every week matters.
Interesting to see such backward rules hurting their own high-tech economy.
