不做 英伟达(NVDA.US)

Driven by Nvidia, the global AI wave is moving quickly from generative AI toward physical AI, and the shift is already changing the industrial computer industry. IPC vendors are seeing stronger edge AI demand, broader vertical exposure, and a deeper strategic focus on North America.
The clearest signal is the surge in interest around edge AI products. Advantech has said edge AI-related products accounted for 9% of total revenue in 2024, rose to 16.8% in the first half of 2025, and reached 20.5% in the first quarter of 2026. The company is targeting 30% by the end of 2026, well ahead of its original pace. Industry players said the trend reflects customers' growing willingness to bring AI into operational settings, where measurable results from a leading user can help attract further investment.
Vertical markets broaden
IPC vendors said AI is also redrawing their market maps. Once tied mainly to manufacturing, industrial computers are now seeing wider AI acceptance lift demand in healthcare, defense, robotics, and smart retail.
Winmate has reported strong quarterly revenue growth supported by its defense and healthcare businesses. Adlink Technologies' autonomous mobile robot platform, powered by Nvidia Jetson Thor, has attracted more buyer attention, while Parpro's rising shipments of drones and aerospace products have become a growing source of revenue.
This shift suggests AI is not only increasing demand for IPC hardware but also broadening its sources. Vendors said the move away from a manufacturing-heavy mix is helping them reach customers in markets that were less central in the past.
North America takes the lead
Geographically, North America is gradually replacing China as the main growth focus for many vendors in 2026. Beyond the rise in revenue contribution, several companies are treating the region as their key expansion engine for the coming year.
Ennoconn has moved quickly by setting up an assembly plant in Tennessee through a strategic alliance, aiming to deepen customer relationships in the region. Vendors said these moves are driven not only by tariffs but also by the stronger AI adoption appetite among North American startups and the opportunity to become more irreplaceable in the regional supply chain as integrated platform providers.
As vendors take on a more platform role, they are also testing new business models. Ennoconn's ESaaS model combines hardware, software, and cloud services into a single package. Advantech's long-standing platform-ecosystem strategy is also gaining traction in the fragmented edge AI market, where customers increasingly want more customized services.
IPC vendors said physical AI applications have long been expected as the next stage of automation and intelligence, and with the technology and market now more mature, customer acceptance has improved accordingly.
Even so, several uncertainties remain for the second half of the year. Vendors acknowledged that earlier rush shipments tied to tariff expectations are now being replaced by slower actual demand, as some customers continue to work through inventory. Memory and processor costs, along with the New Taiwan dollar's exchange-rate trend, are also expected to remain pressure points for cost control.
