Major Taiwanese memory module manufacturers saw revenue remain at high levels in August 2026, as memory prices continued to rise. Adata Technology and Team Group both posted record-high single-month revenue in August. Industry players believe demand will continue to be strong in the artificial intelligence (AI) market, with prices expected to continue rising in the third quarter. As supply is anticipated to tighten further in 2027, inventory management and market positioning will become critical to operating performance.

Global cloud service providers (CSPs) are accelerating the development of AI infrastructure. It is estimated that DRAM and NAND flash will account for a combined 68% of major CSPs' capital expenditures by 2027. The market also expects high-bandwidth memory (HBM) contract prices to have significant room for further increases in 2027, keeping overall memory contract prices elevated through 2027.
Adata sets new revenue records
Adata reported consolidated revenue of NT$18.93 billion (approx. US$600.19 million) in August, up 3% from July and 279.8% from August 2025, marking a monthly revenue record for the sixth consecutive month. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months of 2026 totaled NT$101.58 billion, up 218.1% year-over-year, surpassing NT$100 billion for the first time.
Adata chairman Simon Chen said global investment in AI infrastructure remains strong, while upstream memory manufacturers continue to face relatively tight supplies of memory for non-AI applications, keeping memory prices on an upward trend in August. At the same time, demand from PC, industrial control, and end-user channel customers continued to increase. Revenue from solid-state drives (SSD) rose to NT$5.03 billion, setting another monthly record.
Chen reiterated that Adata has further deepened cooperation with upstream partners, establishing diversified and stable supply sources for customers and continuing to strengthen its overall supply chain layout.
DRAM accounted for 69.3% of Adata's product mix in August, followed by SSDs at 26.6% and memory cards, flash drives, and other products representing 4.1%.
Team Group already exceeds 2025 revenue
Team Group reported consolidated revenue of NT$3.51 billion in August 2026, up 275.06% from a year earlier and 38.04% from the previous month, setting a record for the same month. Cumulative consolidated revenue for the first eight months of 2026 reached NT$22.69 billion, already exceeding its full-year 2025 revenue.
Team Group said it will continue expanding into higher-value applications, including enterprise system integration (SI) and industrial control, to sustain its growth momentum.
Transcend continues to focus on higher-value markets
Transcend Information reported August 2026 consolidated revenue of NT$4.84 billion, up about 275% year-over-year and down 6.8% sequentially. Still, its overall operating scale remained high, with cumulative revenue for the first eight months of 2026 reaching NT$42.48 billion, up 384% from the same period last year.
Transcend said the continued expansion of AI infrastructure is boosting demand for data centers, enterprise-grade SSDs, and high-end memory applications. The company will continue to focus on higher-value markets such as enterprise servers and industrial automation.
Apacer, Innodisk address price increases
Apacer Technology posted August 2026 revenue of NT$2.79 billion, up 177.1% from a year earlier and down 0.07% from the month before. The company said the memory market remains a seller's market, and while price increases have slowed, its aggressive inventory buildup is not aimed at short-term price fluctuations but at preparing for potential supply shortages in 2027.
Innodisk reported revenue of NT$8.68 billion in August, an increase of 576.29% year-over-year and 2.18% sequentially. The company remains optimistic about its full-year 2026 performance, expecting gross margin to stay healthy and relatively stable thanks to customers' strong ability to pass on price increases and high-value-added products. It also expects the upward trend in market quotations to remain in place through the end of 2027.
