Msscorps posts record 2Q revenue on AI and chip testing demand

Msscorps reported record consolidated revenue in June, and for the first half of 2026, as demand from AI and semiconductor customers continued to expand. The Taiwan-based semiconductor inspection and analysis company also said on July 6 that its board had approved a cash capital increase to support expansion of its AI chip analysis platform, silicon photonics interconnect testing equipment, and mass production of its self-developed tools.

June consolidated revenue reached NT$206 million (US$6.43 million), up 10.36% year over year and the highest for the same period on record. Second-quarter consolidated revenue totaled NT$635 million, up 9.75% quarter over quarter and 16.58% year over year, while first-half 2026 revenue rose to NT$1.214 billion, up 20.24% year over year.
The company said revenue had eased from May's level because a key customer had undertaken a two-week annual shutdown. Even so, stronger orders from semiconductor and AI-related clients lifted its material analysis, AI chip inspection and analysis, and silicon photonics chip-on-wafer-on-substrate (CPO) testing services, which helped quarterly revenue set a record and pushed first-half revenue to a new high for the period.
Under the approved capital increase, Msscorps will issue 6,000 new shares. The proceeds will be used to expand AI chip analysis platform capacity, add silicon photonics optical interconnect testing equipment, and accelerate mass production of its self-developed MSS HG silicon photonics optical loss localization equipment.
The company said it is targeting long-term growth in AI, high-performance computing, silicon photonics, and CPO as global AI infrastructure upgrades continue. It added that it has been building an AI chip analysis platform in recent years while also developing silicon photonics testing, proprietary equipment, and intellectual property licensing, with the goal of expanding from a single-service analysis provider into a broader semiconductor technology platform company.
