Pegatron announced on September 3 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Deloitte Taiwan, combining Pegatron's self-developed enterprise AI digital twin platform with Deloitte's consulting expertise in AI strategy, governance, and implementation to offer corporate clients a one-stop AI solution from planning to deployment.
Pegatron said companies are facing multiple challenges as AI evolves rapidly from intelligent applications toward agentic AI, including model governance, information security, regulatory compliance, and organizational resilience.
To address strong market demand for trustworthy AI, the partnership will position Deloitte as the enterprise strategy and governance adviser, while drawing on Pegatron's experience in AI platform development and smart manufacturing to accelerate industrial transformation in Taiwan.
The collaboration will focus on three service areas.
First, both sides will jointly define high-value use cases and estimate benefits, then validate feasibility and impact through a single scenario before completing platform deployment to improve operating efficiency, quality, and yield, with the model later replicated across multiple factories worldwide.
Second, to manage enterprise AI risk and cybersecurity governance, the two companies will help establish regular model review mechanisms and AI risk indicators so accountability is clear, data is protected, and the framework can be replicated. When new scenarios are added later, the same framework can be reused without redesigning governance.
Third, before deployment, they will use simulated rehearsals of key operational scenarios to verify whether recovery and backup strategies are in place, then connect the process with ISO certification and fold resilience into annual governance and audit cycles.
Applicable use cases include enterprise operations, new factory builds and NPI line planning for manufacturers, dynamic simulation of production bottlenecks, visual quality inspection, robotic process optimization, and digital twin applications for environmental, health, and safety risk simulation across different sites.
Pegatron will focus on the secure foundation and MCP architecture iterations, while Deloitte will help identify frontline scenarios and drive enterprise-grade implementation, with the two companies working together to lower the trust and technical barriers to AI adoption.
Pegatron vice president and chief AI officer An-Chu Hsiao said the partnership combines the technology industry's AI deployment capabilities with the perspective of professional services. Leveraging the experience gained from deploying the Pegaverse enterprise platform in manufacturing, the company can quickly replicate its implementation capabilities across different industries.
Looking ahead, Pegatron and Deloitte will use the memorandum as a starting point to deepen cooperation in AI governance, digital twins, and smart manufacturing, helping Taiwanese companies balance innovation speed with governance quality as the AI wave accelerates.
