WinWay Technologies said that its June revenue rose to a record NT$1.5 billion (US$454.8 million), supported by demand from AI, high performance computing, ASICs, GPUs, CPUs, and other applications despite shipments being disrupted by typhoons. The semiconductor test interface supplier also said its order intake for AI-related test platforms remained full heading into the third quarter of this year.
The company reported a second-quarter revenue of NT$3.5 billion, a quarterly increase of 18.2% and a year-over-year jump of 131.4%, marking a fourth straight quarter of double-digit sequential growth. First-half revenue reached NT$6.5 billion, up 70.27% from a year earlier and already above the company's cumulative revenue for the first 10 months of 2025.
Looking ahead, WinWay said strong pull-ins from AI customers should keep production at full capacity in the third quarter. The company added that new capacity at a plant in Kaohsiung will gradually come online, helping fulfill orders more quickly and support another round of growth.
WinWay also pointed to industry forecasts it said reinforced the strength of AI demand. According to World Semiconductor Trade Statistics , the global semiconductor market is expected to surge 89.9% from 2025 and top US$1.5 trillion for the first time, before reaching US$1.9 trillion in 2027. SEMI said in June that investment in advanced processes and advanced packaging and testing continues to accelerate because of AI.
The company said that advanced packaging formats such as CoWoS, CoPoS, and CPO are becoming mainstream, increasing demand for high-frequency, high-speed, high-power, high-pin-count, and large-package testing. WinWay said its next-generation AI test interface platform has been gaining market penetration, and that its HyperSocket-DH double-layer superconducting test socket has been adopted by multiple AI customers, while its functional burn-in products have also attracted new clients.
