### VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT Artemis Dream® SELF-EXPANDING INTRACRANIAL RAPAMYCIN ELUTING STENT SYSTEM ENTERS THE INNOVATIVE GREEN PATH OF NMPA

This announcement is made by MicroPort NeuroScientific Corporation (the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors (the “Board”) of the Company is pleased to announce that Artemis Dream® Self-Expanding Intracranial Rapamycin Eluting Stent System (“Artemis Dream®”), developed by MicroPort NeuroTech (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Group, has passed the special review application for innovative medical devices of National Medical Products Administration (the “NMPA”) and entered the special review procedure (the “Green Path”). To date, the Group has had seven products included in the NMPA’s special review program for innovative medical devices. The inclusion of this product marks further official recognition of the Group’s technological strategy in the field of intracranial arterial stenosis treatment.

As an innovative product developed to tackle the clinical challenges of intracranial arterial stenosis, Artemis Dream® is the first domestically-developed targeted drug-eluting selfexpanding intracranial arterial stent whose core design advantages are as follows:

- • Balance radial support and long-term outcomes: It adopts a self-expanding stent structure to precisely tune mechanical support performance and metal coverage, lowering the risk of vascular injury and restenosis from a structural perspective.


- • Realize targeted drug delivery: Equipped with the “single-sided grooved” targeted drug delivery technology, the stent delivers superior coating adhesion durability and achieves directional drug release exclusively toward the vessel wall. It inhibits intimal hyperplasia, accelerates endothelialization, and helps shorten the postoperative dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) duration.


The inclusion of Artemis Dream® in the “Green Path” for innovative review will effectively shorten the product registration review cycle, accelerate the product’s market launch to benefit patients, and further enhance the Group’s comprehensive product portfolio for the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular diseases.
