Phase 2

Phase 1 plant now in stable operation following commissioning; first liquid helium in storage ahead of initial deliveries to contracted offtakers
DALLAS, Oct. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ASP Isotopes Inc. (NASDAQ: ASPI) (“ASP Isotopes” or the “Company”), an advanced materials company focused on developing technologies and processes for the production of critical materials used in multiple industries, today announced that Tetra4 Proprietary Limited (“Tetra4”), a subsidiary of Renergen Limited (“Renergen”), has completed commissioning and achieved stable production of liquid helium. Liquid helium is now accumulating in Tetra4’s cryogenic storage ahead of initial deliveries under existing offtake agreements. The Virginia Gas Project holds South Africa’s first onshore petroleum production right and is the country’s first integrated producer of both liquid helium and liquefied natural gas (“LNG”).
“
Stable helium production at the Virginia Gas Project is a defining milestone for Renergen and for ASP Isotopes,
” said Paul Mann, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ASP Isotopes, and Chief Executive Officer of Renergen. “
With global helium supply under significant pressure, a new, independent source matters more than ever, and our offtake partners have been waiting for exactly this. We are now ramping towards nameplate capacity, which we expect to reach during the fourth quarter of 2026, and we are finalising logistics with our offtakers for first deliveries.
”
Phase 1 is expected to produce approximately 2,500 GJ/day of LNG and approximately 70 Mcf/day of liquid helium.
