Palantir Technologies(PLTR.US)
财报方向明确利好,但这是前一交易日盘后已披露并在盘前涨约15%至16%的高扩散财报反应;开盘追多主要承担跳空兑现风险,缺少未定价的新事实或二阶映射。
不做 安森美(ON.US)
二季度小幅超预期且AI数据中心增长属正面,但三季度指引基本符合预期、盘前已涨约6%至8%,预期差和量级不足以支持开盘追多。

[17:00] AndOf course, with these heat waves still going on now we flipped the board here, we can see some like the backdrop for this record.
[17:00] the stock year of 600 which is that you know a lot of analysts have been upgrading earnings revisions this is a chart for the city group.
[17:00] Europe X UK earnings revision and you can see it's been on the rise lately as we've had a pretty positive earnings season so far.
[17:00] All right, Justina, thank you so much, Justina Lee there in London here in the US it looks like a modestly positive day, but that belies just.😊
[17:00] How a bullanant this market really is, it seems what's old is new again, so we actually have the Dow hit a record yesterday and the Mag 7 were're up four and a half.😊
[17:00] Software also continuing to do well along with hyperscalers. So you' see Nsec 100 futures pop higher today future.
[17:00] We actually hit a record in the session a little bit earlier on. So expect perhaps a green day if this whole holds. Let's look at yieldels because we did see them drop yes.😊
[17:01] up about a basis point or so more now actually two basis points across the curve yesterday Scott Fs of course calming the market.
[17:01] 🎼Last chance, or as he says that it is Iran's last chance. And so that's also impacting yields today. So we have Brent crude back above.
[17:01] WTI back above 82 and as Justina pointed out, troublingly, European gas future is back above 60.
[17:01] 🎼Megawatt hour Blixo is trading with a 15 handle All right, let's get to some individual market movers now for that we'll go back over to London and Chloe Meie.😊
[17:01] Good morning Vonnie palanter is jumping this morning after boosting its revenue guidance it described the demand for.😊
[17:01] Data analytics tools are the worldorldly and it seems that investors are just as enthusiastic about the company's growth.😊
[17:01] pect were up about 16% on the back of those earnings this morning. we are also in the green a snap after the company reported.😊
[17:01] Better than expected of revenue for the second quarter and also projecting a revenue to still grow in the current quarter and're up.😊
[17:02] About8% on the back of this is really benefited from strong advertising sales and so that's really driving the stock this morning.
[17:02] finally, the chip maker on semi is also in the green this morning after beating revenue and earnings expectations.😊
[17:02] As always with those chip makers, AA data center demand is a thing that has really driven performance there, so we are seeing a rally in the shares.😊
[17:02] 🎼Well for this company up about 8% for onem Toy thank you so much Toy Melly will be back a little later on in the hour also.😊
[17:02] Coming up this hour more on this earnings season with k cider on state street well let's start there with earnings pal rise.
[17:02] Double digits in pre market trading second quarter sales described as quoteother worldorly far exceeding Wall Street estimates and leading Po to.
[17:02] Raise revenue and income forecast for the year Bloomberg's Neal Camp joins us now, Alex Carr, colorful as always, Neil, but where is this demand?
[17:03] Coming from certain countries are trying to get away from palanter seems Yeah, it's true. I think the key reassurance.
[17:03] Is that Panantier was seen as a threat from the dual wave of AI frontier models potentially.
[17:03] Displacing some of the software tool sets, But palents tools clearly are in much demand. And so you can see that coming through in the fact that they manage.
[17:03] To grow their revenue line for the 12th consecutive quarter of accelerating growth,93% year on year.
[17:03] Is stunning by any metrics, so clearly wherever they are being potentially displaced in some places, there is demand that's more than offsetting any kind.
[17:03] from that, but it' a simply stunning set of results and if we break out commercial versus sovereign and so on.
[17:03] How, so we find that obviously, as he mentioned himself otherworldly with the demand from.
[17:03] And I think that's where really, if you look at in terms of the expectations going going ahead, then as far as you're looking to.
[17:04] how you can use these tool sets, it's really commercial it's going to drive the acceleration going forward, I think.😊
[17:04] Clearly, being taken well this morning, as you mentioned, the premarket. Don't forget, the stock had declined by 40% from its highest.
[17:04] In November into the print, Yeah, absolutely, it had a big sell off Neil, with more and more stories coming out of China, another company looking to go.
[17:04] next year AI squared robotics, of course, Alibaba's biggest AI model, it says is on par with anthropic that news yesterday.
[17:04] Now we have Huawei's top chip scientist warning that the likes of Nvidia are facing physical limits for what they're trying to put on their transistors.
[17:04] And they'll soon face an avalanche, what does he mean and how is China doing it differently?😊
[17:04] So every time we get a big technet transition on the chip side of things, we often reach sort of physical limits of what you can.
[17:05] Put on the compute onto the chip, however, what you've seen with the other AI models and, in fact, with the Nvidia ecosystem in the past is.
[17:05] You utilize software and other tool sets to enhance your improvements where you often get these physics limits.😊
[17:05] But we find ways around these over the course of time, Huawei and some of the Chinese players, what we don't really know is exactly how they're managing to offer.
[17:05] Seet some of those constraints when they haven't got access to the USIP. So in terms of the testing on.
[17:05] On the side of Alibaba and others, I think it still needs remains to be seen when we can test side by side these different models to see which.
[17:05] Really are leading the compute regimes right now and then Neil CxMT preparing to manufacture advance.
[17:05] Low power memory chips around the end of the year. What does that mean for the likes of SK Heyix and Samsung and the US memory chip?
[17:05] Yeah, so in traditional sort of the HBM, the high bandwidth memory types.
[17:06] The Chinese will lead to be around three to four years behind. it would appear they're looking to sort of circumnavigate some of those challenges.
[17:06] By offering a lower power alternative, whether you can get these at scale remains to be seen.
[17:06] And I suspect that most of the U models and international models will continue to use the high performance memory chips for.
[17:06] a higher compute, but this will be an area to watch out for, especially given what we've seen in terms of supply constraints.
[17:06] On the memory chip side, absolutely, Neil, as always, across everything that is Neil camping for us in London in Washington.
[17:06] T says the latest offer of talks is Iran's last chance before quote, decapitation. Tehran denies it's been negotiating with the U.
[17:06] joining us now from Dubai is Bloberg's Air Abu Omar, the public rhetoric at least doesn't align a beer what do we know about.
[17:07] What's actually happening behind the scenes? Good morning, Fonnie, Well, conflicting statements yet again between.
[17:07] Iran and the United States is what you just mentioned what President Trump has said, told reporters in the White House yesterday that decapitation line.
[17:07] That the Iranian leadership is unbelievably duplicitous, along with many other things that he said about the state of the negotiation.
[17:07] He still maintains that negotiations between the US and Iran are ongoing now from the Iranian side, we heard from the foreign ministry.
[17:07] Vni, the active discussions between Iran and the U are actually not happening. Iran has maintained the line again that.
[17:07] delegates, it will send mediators to send messages on its behalf, but its stop negotiators are not having any.
[17:07] Discussions with the United states meanwhile, other negotiations are going on, we are aware of them we reported them last week they're happening.
[17:07] To the beginning of this week, and those are between Iran and Aman, and that's really to open up a pathway if you were in the Strait of Hermuse.
[17:08] Passageway to help ships and vessels start to make their way through the Strrat of Her. now we don't know what exactly.
[17:08] Talks entail or what exactly the mechanisms are to open up the straight of her moves. But what we understand is that both are in this.
[17:08] To either the straight of Her and help ships take this pathway that was not really open to ships throughout.
[17:08] Course of this war, as you know, Iran has been asking ships and vessels to stick to a route that it had laid out, which is closest to its borders.
[17:08] On the northern side of the Strait of Herms, any other pathway leaves ships and vessels open to the risk of being attacked.
[17:08] Even into the early hours of this overnight ships were getting attacked in the Strait of, of course, this is all happening while the US.
[17:08] Its naval blockades on Iranianian ports, and so we're watching the whole space, we're watching what negotiations is president.
[17:09] Tump, in fact, referring to and whether those are happening or about to happen, he maintains they did happen despite the Iraniananians.
[17:09] Iran says no chance those are happening that the mediators will be involved we haven't heard from either.
[17:09] Pakistan or Qatar, we know that President Trump said that Saudi Arabia's Hammad bin Saman had reached out to him and said and pleaded that a return to.
[17:09] Diploacy was the choice here, the best choice here, and that attacks are not favorable to countries in the region that is the GC.
[17:09] All right Abi, thank you so much Bloomberg's Abiir Abu Omar in Dubai Now to other the top stories trending on the terminal this morning.
[17:09] US landlord Polo just has agreed to buy the UK's largest RET, Sero, the deal is valued at 18.8 billion.
[17:09] 🎼Shareholders can elect to receive a recommended share offer or a partial cash alternative Ukraine says.
[17:09] a in the with Russia aims to produce at least 50000 unmanned ground vehicles this year to.
[17:10] 🎼Human troops confronting Russia's military Shas of Luza fell most since March after a warning of increase.
[17:10] 🎼its full year outlook, the airline group cited volatility in jet fuel prices and shortened booking cycles.
[17:10] 🎼A group whose airline brands include Swiss and Brussels Airlines joined IAG in giving growth plans.
[17:10] For the year a miss this time coming up HSBC's ramping up cost savings after beating the streets's profit estimates.
[17:10] More on that next, this is bloomberg.
[17:11] 🎼Eechnology is embedded in every aspect of our lives and that revolution is playing out in real time, from finance to defense tech.
[17:11] 🎼AI to entertainment from the road to the stars Loomberg is bringing you the stories of companies and people that are pushing.

[17:12] 30 a the market tells you what it's really thinking we beat the drum to the opening be with deep analysis of the forces driving the price.
[17:12] 🎼Action focusingcusing investors on what really matters where the money flows, which markets are changing Con, the players sha the narrative.
[17:12] Innovative growth companies gravitate to Nasdaq it's not just like let's buy the Mag7 or AI that's a really compelling story.
[17:12] This is where your trading day begins and this is open interest only on bloomomberg.
[17:12] We're growing.
[17:13] Aross all our indicators, our revenue growing, our loans and deposits are growing. Our fee income is growing. We generated returns of 9.
[17:13] In half percent on tangible equity. So this is know, this is a good demonstration of strong business momentum.
[17:13] We're also very pleased with the progress we're making on the strategy which we're executing with precision, with disability.
[17:13] And the base shares of HSBC lower by about1. a half percent this morning after the lender announced fresh stock.
[17:13] and hiked its cost cutting targetberg's Tomcal joins us now for more Tom L is going a pace at this.
[17:13] Can he keep it up at this speed, I mean, he's exited so many businesses, three sales just in the past few days.
[17:13] Certainly leaving has an impact, right, and that was a very bullish sort of interview who gave us earlier, obviously stock market a little bit more.
[17:13] Sanguine about things, but yeah, broadly speaking here is going ahead and execution. So before these results, we saw HSBC leave.😊
[17:14] The Egyptian market on the retail side at least and today Alru is basically saying, look, I'm on schedule, I'm not expecting any kind of more.😊
[17:14] Drastic changes to the footprint of the bank as he sees it, but he's certainly one for taking sort of quick action.
[17:14] And that's probably why over the longer course of the shares, shareholders has really sort of embraced his strategy in Ohaul.
[17:14] What about the concern that wealth and fluxes might be just a little less forthcoming now that China is restricting?
[17:14] Capital outflows a little more I that still a concern for HSBC. Yeah, the banks saying today they haven't sort of seen too much of it.😊
[17:14] Sot of impact from that, but know China wealth, huge market, huge opportunities as well. So I think there is know quite a lot of.
[17:14] OfDownside risk there. And obviously, if that situation clears up, that will be a big positive for HSBC. But right now, you're not really seeing it at least.
[17:15] ically in the numbers, it doesn't seem to be holding the bank back in maybe it' core markets of even Hong Kong. Yeah, I mean it wraps.😊
[17:15] European earnings season, for the most part, were there any cracks in HSBC's earnings or indeed in any of the previous earnings that we?
[17:15] it didn't seem that it was that difficult a quarter for any of the bankss. Yeah, no,' always looking out for those signs of distress.
[17:15] ning signs, but no pretty much across the board, you know, when you dig into those line items, those expected credit losses, or provisions.
[17:15] Something that kind of really startled the market was above estimates and in many cases came slightly below estimates, I think broadly speaking.
[17:15] It' was a fairly kind of steady, steady period, and I think the problem for European banks is you across the Atlantic, you have the US banks again.😊
[17:15] broadly speaking, having a really strong quarter, so anything you know, the European banks did sort of paleed in comparison, so that's largely why you probably.
[17:15] quite a muted shareholder reaction to, as you say, what's been a pretty steady, if unspecous quarter.
[17:16] Today, but up at 33% since the beginning of the year, Tom Mecalf, thank you so much turning to oil now Saudi a33% increase.😊
[17:16] In profit in the last quarter, thanks to higher energy prices driven by the conflict in the Middle East. For more, let's bring in Bloomberg's Anthony de Paulola.
[17:16] Antony, that has to be a little bit of a consolation, at least to Saudi Aramco, even as I'm sure it's very concerned about infrastructure and the future.
[17:16] good morning that's correct it's more than a conslation for.
[17:16] Because these were pretty positive results, 33% up on the adjusted net income for the quarter versus last.
[17:16] So that's a pretty hefty result, they reported more profit than Exxon Mobil and Chevron combined.
[17:16] And we saw those companies last week reporting based on the higher oil prices that goes for Saudi Reco, the higher oil.
[17:17] saysPlus they've been able to maintain a large portion of their exports by using that cross country pipeline that allows them to export.
[17:17] From the Red Sea as opposed to the Persian Gulf where obviously the Strait of Hms remains blocked now they do have some.
[17:17] is going forward around the babomana, which is at the southern end of the Red sea, some threats there from the.
[17:17] In Yemen so that's a risk, but Rammcos CEO I mean NassA was telling us on several calls today that so far it there been.
[17:17] No impact on the exports, so ramco is still exporting around 5 million barrels a day as they maximize.
[17:17] The shipments out of the Red Sea, they're able to go north through the Suez canal that takes their oil into.
[17:17] The Mediterranean Sea, if they have to go to as via that route, that adds about 20 to 25 days more sailing time so that is going.
[17:17] be some delay and some impact in terms of getting barrels to market, but they're still going ahead and they're still confident that they'll be able to continue.
[17:18] Those exports as well as lots of exports of refined products as those refineries on the Red Sea continue to pump out diesel.
[17:18] And jet fuel, ands that's a big area of the market because those margins are really high and that's been benefiting a lot of the.
[17:18] Integrated oil companies that we've seen as they reported earnings last week this week and going forward vonnie.
[17:18] Think about BPp, Anthony, because we also saw a very nice beat from BPp, and in fact, they're actually within sight of.
[17:18] We meeting their debt target, right, their repayments targets, so what kind of shape is BPPN now?
[17:18] Yeah, also a good net income number from BPp one of the highest in years, again, that's high oil prices that have benefited.
[17:18] All the producers across the oil spectrum plus again, those products, BPP is also a big refiner, so those products that.
[17:19] Are giving good margins, and BPP also has a huge trading arm, and so as those traders are able to buy and.
[17:19] Crude oil and products across the globe as there's a lot of volatility, as there's a lot of shortage, that's exactly the kind of.
[17:19] Circumstances in which traders benefit and are able to bring up those profits, so BPp has been really benefiting from those issues and as you said working.
[17:19] down that debt BnieAll right Anthony, thank you so much. that's Anthony depa there all over the other market in Dai this been.
[17:20] 🎼Hello there just wanted to say Primeer is back we've been scouring the frontiers of science and technology to help explain.😊
[17:20] 🎼difference between the next rush and this and in season2, the stakes.
[17:21] Now that is some high grade Iranianium mineralization. We have a stable climate on this earth right now, we do not.
[17:21] We're pushing the envelope of technology in multiple directions, software, hardware, chemistry, physics.
[17:21] 🎼Cs like very calls and more CEOs that can nail the photo shoot hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars.
[17:21] While the problems are economic, the solutions are too and yes, we will be talking about AI.
[17:21] There is a lot of humanoid hype out there, but our future doesn't run on hype it runs on innovation.
[17:21] Watch season two on all these lovely channels when news breaks in comes the car into Downing street Bloberg has you covered.
[17:21] Any Burnham arriving for all the context and clarity you need a vision.
[17:21] 🎼In case you missed it on have7 in one.
[17:22] But the IGVzagging in the other corner, so you've had this cancellation broadly on the index volatility.
[17:22] But we've continued to say, you know you have a guy who's limboing and the limbo stick is 12 inches off the ground how much further.
[17:22] Lower can we go for a lot of these metrics like correlation before we see a reflation don't miss bloomberry brief live every weekday.
[17:22] Time now for your front page news first up, the bbc reporting eu interior ministers will host emergency talks.
[17:22] By video conference to discuss border security after the influx of migrants from Morocco into the Spanish excla Alve Ca.😊
[17:22] 🎼Spain estimates now about 69 and a half thousand migrants have returned to Morocco higher than the 50,000 initial estimate.😊
[17:23] Next up, the Financial Times reporting rus has been quietly increasing its shadow fleet of gas carrying ships ahead of an EU ban on its LNng cargoes.
[17:23] Coming into forest next year, the now 25 strong fleet will allow Moscow to keep shipping gas when restrictions tighten.😊
[17:23] And the Wall Street Journal reporting Taiwan is opening up about long concealed US military training in a move seen as an attempt to combats.
[17:23] ptticism about the U position towards Taiwan.
[17:24] What is Mira mars?
[17:24] 🎼And for the future, you know, predicting dystopia or utopia to me feels very, very.
[17:24] 🎼ifiedBecause the truth is we actually have a lot of agency in how we build this technology in the tools that we're building.
[17:25] 🎼How we're deploying it. It's not a predestined outcome. There are certainly those risks. we all understand.
[17:25] The potential for greatness that comes with building frontier eye systems and that's why we're working on them, there's been a lot of.
[17:25] Talk around the uncertainty, around the downsides, and I agree with a lot of this risk.
[17:25] And perhaps where I might disagree or take a different path is that I think.
[17:25] I thinkWe have a lot of agency like this period of time where both humans and AI systems.
[17:25] 🎼their hands on the wheel and we can collaborate is a very important time to get rights and the more that we can we do.
[17:25] 🎼the discontinuity that comes from new capabilities and huge change in capabilities, the better.
[17:25] 🎼And this is why we took this approach with thinking machines and why the company exists.
[17:26] Welcome to Bloomer this weekend I'm da, I'm Lisa mateay and I'm Christine de Raffiti for.
[17:26] wall street' this weekend bringing a little bloom into your weekend routine.

[17:21] While the problems are economic, the solutions are too and yes, we will be talking about AI.
