[11:39] 8 billion let's bring in ahanana correspondent minimum low and mean how much interest is there in this round of fundraising?
[11:39] Yes, a lot of interest, if you judge by how much the company is targeting in terms of valuation, they are seeking to secure valuation.
[11:39] 500 billion yuan. now this is a huge step up from the 350 billion yuan that they secured in the first round of.
[11:39] raising which just concluded in june so just a couple of months difference and we are seeing a big jump in that valuation that they're targeting.
[11:39] that monolith management is one of the investment firms, a Beijing and Hongng Kong based investment firm that is investing in the.
[11:39] In the first round we knew that alibaba 10 cents an estate backed fund is investing in the company so.
[11:40] A lot of interest in deepse, particularly after the successful launch of that V4 flash model, which was one of the.😊
[11:40] Most used model for several consecutive weeks on an API aggregator. and that's thanks to the very cheap pricing of.
[11:40] It is one of the cheapest models available right now and of course when it comes to that fundra a big part of that funding will likely go into funding its data.
[11:40] Center build out as well because we previously reported that the company was looking to invest in building out a one gigabatt data center.
[11:40] In the Mongolia, that is something that would cost tens of billions of dollars, so yes, a huge expansion for deepse.
[11:40] It is riding high, talk to us about the price hike announced.
[11:40] warningning clients that it will be hiking prices significantly soon it hasn't provided details as to how big a price.
[11:41] Yeah, but given that the pricing is between what.
[11:41] And Min talk to us about monolith, its prominence has risen, and that's on the back of its investment in Moonshot, right?

[11:41] Just got the news today from Reuters that Alibaba is also looking at a new way to.
[11:41] Charge its customers for its open source model, particularly large users, it's looking to charge.

[11:42] Like ju and mini Maxax that do not have those cash reserves that the big companies like Tencent and Alibaba do.
[11:42] From the other aspects of their business, whether it's advertising or gaming. So this is certainly a game.
[11:42] of fundraising is going to last.
[11:43] and whether they would need to look for more funds a few years down the road, thank you so much for thatberg's China correspondent.😊
[11:43] A pressure group and intends to turn the movement into a campaign focused on education, jobs and government accountability.
[11:43] Cockroach and cockckroach Chanter party will start a nation.
[11:43] People will protest on the streets.
[11:43] Let's now go across toka Dohi who joins us from the Mai.
[11:43] was it surprising that it's now come out to say it has no interest in becoming a political party?
[11:43] I would treat that position as an opening gambit if I can call it that has.
[11:44] There are two ways to look at it, right, There is a certain smartness in adopting that position because the mood in which.
[11:44] The cockroach Juta party has, in a sense, know, sort of gained momentum is a mood of disaffection for organized power.😊
[11:44] Whether it is the ruling BJP at the center or even the Congress as the main the.
[11:44] Opposition party young people seem disenchanted with politics as it currently exists, which is why they took.
[11:44] In droves to something like the cockro Jen party, which is not even a party, right, really, it's only just an Instagram movement.😊
[11:44] To begin with, so I think in one ways, it could be considered as a smart initial position.
[11:44] But yes, you're right. The skepticism here is that will they be reduced to this fringe player because if you're.😊
[11:45] Not inactive politics. You're not an insider. And then you're left on the outside. And what tools do you.
[11:45] really have right You can go about, like they've said, collecting opinion from the public on what needs to change in education.
[11:45] In jobs, in government accountability. But then what are you going to do with that opinion, Are you going to be like a think tank.
[11:45] Or like journalists, you and me right who sit in newsrooms and write articles about this. how are you going to utilize?😊
[11:45] That to sort of keep the momentum going, Are you just going to be reduced to the fringe. I think that's the really important question.
[11:45] The CGP is facingBut having said that, mana, I mean, even as a fringe chose to speak organization.
[11:45] Pressure group, if you must it has been quite successful we saw 36 days of protest we saw a minister getting.
[11:45] Fed we've seen exam reform, so it has been quite effective in putting a lot of pressure and perhaps even bring.
[11:46] policyThat's true, Ha, I look, the best way I can put it is like with market.
[11:46] Politics also works on the principles of greed and fear. There was significant fear, and there continues to be.
[11:46] Within the youth, within students on what the future holds for them, you know, education is simply not providing the upward.
[11:46] Mobility that it used to, let's say,10 or 15 years ago, there are fewer and fewer good jobs available. AI is threatening.
[11:46] To reshape even what's left on the Greek side, you know, there has been considerable political ambition to get big.
[11:46] and bigger for the BJP, as a result of which they've lost touch with what's going on on the ground to some extent, or at least they've stopped here.
[11:46] The ground voicesNow it is the combination of these two factors that created this incredible moment of alchemy.😊
[11:47] That allowed for the birthing of the cockroach gelta party, the name which it draws from this very unfortunate comment made.😊
[11:47] The chief justice of India's Supreme Court. So you have to recognize the special circumstances in which the CJP has.😊
[11:47] ined popularity. Let me put two other things to U Ha. One, they've had spectacular success in their first protest, as you've just.😊
[11:47] ,But every protest from here on or every action from here on they take will be.
[11:47] Benchmarked with that in the first protest, they were able to get the replacement of the education minister. They had the Bj.😊
[11:47] Bean Prime Minister Modi on the back foot, how are subsequent protests going to measure up?
[11:47] The spectacular success of the first protest, each action from here on is going to run into this wall of diminishing marginal.😊
[11:47] So I think that's the first bit. The second thing is,, like we discussed just a few seconds ago, what will their utility.
[11:48] Be to the youth from here on, how are they going to build an organization we haven't heard from them on that funding to sustain.
[11:48] The campaigns that they want to run, organizational structure, strategy, so these are all questions that you know.
[11:48] I think we'll challenge this ragtag group of people that have revived the protest culture in India, at least.😊
[11:48] For nowAnd you've got to give them credit for that. I don't mean to be just purely skeptical, but we are now seeing protests know, among students.
[11:48] In several parts of India, I read about students in a Bihar school that went on protest because their school building was.😊
[11:48] A great degree of disrepair. And they said, we will not study further till you fix this. And right now, in jargon, we have another.
[11:48] Big student protest going on as and curiously enough, this time, the protest is by students against infirmities in this.
[11:49] State examinations, the government of that state is run by the Congress Party. and so the BGP is on the side of the students in this particular.😊
[11:49] Protest, so we're going to see some interesting stuff evolve around this protest culture. What's also interesting is that it's been.😊
[11:49] In some sort of a wake up call for promise the moddi himself, I mean, he's seen as being quite disconnected from the youth today.
[11:49] And disconnected from the problems they're facing, it is interesting that he has taken to G instagram dressed in.
[11:49] In a biker jacket with his sunglasses, I guess it is an effort to strike that chemistry.
[11:49] With a younger population now, definitely in effort. So full points to him.
[11:49] Making the effort, the success of that effort. I mean, I'm not really sure, right, If you talk to young people, the reactions are mixed.😊
[11:49] I mean, I don't know, have you ever heard of avancular Instagraming, I think it's a little bit like that, right?😊
[11:50] Maybe even the first message where he tried to make this outreach to students and said, here I.😊
[11:50] I'm here, I'm listening to you. Look at my effort, I'm talking to you on the platform that that is so deeply embedded in your lives.😊
[11:50] I sure the second message went down as smoothly because in that, he offered forgiveness that no student had even asked for.
[11:50] And so yeah, I mean, this interesting moment of culture here where you can see a top leader.😊
[11:50] Who's built his incredible political success on the back of direct communication with people, on the back of social media.
[11:50] Now trying to find what the new idiom is to be able to connect with these young people.
[11:50] And having a mixed sort of outcome with that. And speaking of outcomes, mana, I mean, we're getting reports.
[11:51] some of these students are getting threats online, some death threats, some even rape threats.
[11:51] These threats sound really serious where where is the government with that That's a tricky question.
[11:51] Look, I can tell you this that the Supreme Court had said that no police action should be taken against young protesters though.
[11:51] Caviat to that, they said no action should be taken against those that may have that do not have any criminal cases.
[11:51] Against them in the past or do not have criminal antecedents is the vague phrase that they used, I'm not sure.
[11:51] That means, but this was broadly expected, I think the moment this protest gathereds.
[11:51] Speeed gathered momentum, gathered popular support and then went on to become the success it has in achieving political.
[11:51] Some of its goals, it was clear that there would be a target on the back, not just of the cockroach.
[11:52] Part leaders who had catalyzed this, but also many of the students who joined it on the streets or who joined it.
[11:52] On social media, it is very unfortunate because we can see many young people either being forced to apologize on social.
[11:52] Media and hope that that target on their back is taken off because of that, you know, others that have gone silent, but there is still.
[11:52] A small minority stream of them that are back at making some of those very entertaining reels that had the nation gripped for all.😊
[11:52] Last month haska Do, thank you so much for that perspective, it's 1153 here in alliance.
[11:52] he let's do a benchmark check in Asia, Asia under pressure on the back of developments in Iran.
[11:52] oil back in focus and reports that Iran may restrict access for hostile countries through the Strait of Hars, and that's raising concerns at the Persian Gulf.
[11:53] Supply may struggle to recover pushing crude higher MSR index down about 2 tenth to1% the Nik cost.
[11:53] Negative territory, the cost be down by more than1% of course the broader market backdrop remains dominated by AI related volatility.
[11:53] We have highlighted AI continues to drive both upside and downside swings, pretty much across global equities for more.
[11:53] On the Marcuscus, we're joined by David Savage, ML strategist in Hong Kong, David talk to us about the sentiment in the market today.
[11:53] Yeah, I think there's certainly still anxieties about where we are in the AI trade.
[11:53] getting more complicated and I think we're seeing no longer a rising tide lifts all boats.
[11:53] So I think that's one part, but I think the macro backdrops a little bit in a holding pattern before we get to US jobs.
[11:53] On Friday, so I think in that sense, the dollar remains key, so if again, if we have.
[11:54] A really strong print in terms of US. jobs, then the dollar moves higher and that could again put the macro.
[11:54] BackIn a more complicated picture again. It is also the youth story, isn't it the long end, We have1.
[11:54] About 4. a5%, 30 year yields at 19 year highs, andm just wondering how that's playing out in the market.
[11:54] I think this is a big question, again, coming into US.. jobs, we saw that yields could continue to move.
[11:54] Her even when crew prices were moving back towards $70 a barrel before we had the last escalation.
[11:54] In the Middle East, we saw that yields could move higher based on really strong US economic growth, and so if we see signs.
[11:54] You have really strong print in terms of US jobs that US growth remains very resilient. Well, then I think you're going to have the market really start to.
[11:55] The pressure yields higher, and we're going to start to see pricing towards not just one hike in 2026, but potentially two hikes.
[11:55] That could really you know light a fire under the dollar again David Savage, ML strategist in Hong Kong, thank you for that.
[11:55] Before we go use a look at our shows next week, we'll have a stellar lineup of guests we'll hear from thenyS group president.
[11:55] 🎼Lynn Martin on the US IPO pipeline and will talk earnings with Titan CFO and Asces Co CEO later in.
[11:55] 🎼The W keep here with us, this is Blumm.😊
[11:56] What is Mira mardi's?
[11:56] 🎼You know, predicting dystopia or utopia to me feels very, very.
[11:57] 🎼Simplified because the truth is we actually have a lot of agency in how we build this technology in the tools that were building.
[11:57] 🎼How we're deploying it. It's not a predestined outcome. There are certainly those risks. we all understand.
[11:57] The potential for greatness that comes with building frontier eye systems and that's why we're working on them, there's been a lot.
[11:57] 🎼Talk around the uncertainty around the downsides, and I agree with a lot of this.
[11:57] And perhaps where I might disagree or take a different path is that I think.
[11:57] 🎼I think we have a lot of agency, like this period of time where both humans and AI systems.
[11:57] 🎼Have their hands on the wheel and we can collaborate is a very important time to get right and the more that we can be.
[11:57] 🎼the discontinuity that comes from new capabilities and huge change in capabilities, the better.
[11:58] 🎼And this is why we took this approach where thinking machines and why the company exists.
[11:58] 🎼Key investors, top executives, global innovators join me for.😊
[11:58] Deth conversations with the biggest newsmakers on the day's top stories In with Ha Linda on only.
[11:58] 🎼On Blo back Western countries, all of them are cutting fun.
[11:58] 🎼AfricaAnd some of these programs were supported by funding coming from Western countries like for you.
[11:58] 🎼Many resources for testing, for transportation of samples and suddenly.
[11:58] Africicaan Kansas has to think how to fund money and to cover this gap.
[11:59] 🎼time and I think the community all all of these factors are fueling this mistrust that we see at community.
[11:59] 🎼We value the support we got, and we are still getting from the US, and we think that.
