GM Korea sold a total of 42,119 units in July, the company said on the 3rd.
The result represents a 30.6% increase from the same period last year. It marks the sixth time this year that GM Korea has posted monthly sales of more than 40,000 units.
GM Korea sold 41,353 units in overseas markets. The Chevrolet Trax Crossover led the growth, with sales of 26,822 units, up 48.1% from July last year. The Chevrolet Trailblazer also rose 12.6% to 14,531 units.
"As the Chevrolet Trax Crossover and Trailblazer continue to deliver steady sales performance in global markets, we are strengthening an after-sales service system commensurate with our product competitiveness, so that customers can operate their vehicles conveniently and safely even after purchase," said Gustavo Colossi, Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing at GM Korea.
