Kakao Games announced on July 28 that it has signed a global publishing agreement for Guardian Maiden, a new title currently under development by KONG STUDIOS.
Guardian Maiden is a collectible action role-playing game (RPG) being developed for both mobile and PC platforms. Built with pixel-art graphics, the game follows a hero and a saintess who join forces to battle evil across a vast fantasy continent.
Under the agreement, Kakao Games has secured publishing rights for South Korea and all global markets excluding Greater China. The company is targeting a launch later this year.
