Cosmax Pet投资约400亿韩元的新曾坪宠物健康ODM工厂投产

Cosmax Pet, the pet health-and-beauty original design manufacturing (ODM) company of Cosmax Group, has begun full operation of its new plant in Jeungpyeong, North Chungcheong Province, strengthening its production capabilities. The company's strategy is to significantly expand production facilities and build new formulation production lines to respond to the growing pet healthcare market.
Cosmax Pet said on the 22nd that it has begun full operation of its new Jeungpyeong plant, relocating from its factory in Goesan, North Chungcheong Province. After signing an investment agreement with Jeungpyeong County last October, the company invested approximately 40 billion won to build the new production facility in the Jeungpyeong No. 2 General Industrial Complex.
The plant was established to respond to the rapidly growing pet health management market and increasing product development demand from clients. It specializes in producing pet nutritional supplements and functional treats, with production space more than four times larger than the existing Goesan plant. As a result, the company expects to respond more flexibly to demand for producing various products and customized development.
The production infrastructure has also been strengthened. In addition to existing capsule, pellet, tablet, and liquid-solid formulations, the company introduced new formulation production equipment for yokan-type products, squeeze gels, and liquid drops. It also built a powder production line with a manufacturing environment meeting human pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, improving quality stability and production efficiency.
Through this, the company explained, it has become possible to develop various customized products tailored to pets' age, palatability, feeding convenience, and functional concepts. Cosmax Pet also plans to strengthen its ODM and OEM competitiveness, covering everything from product planning and ingredient proposals to formulation development, production, and quality control.
Cosmax Pet currently produces pet nutritional supplements and pet beauty products based on quality certification systems including ISO 9001 and ISO 22716. It is expanding development of functional products using more than 30 proprietary pet clinical ingredients, and has secured patented ingredients for pet cosmetics used in skin and coat care.
