乐天建设获得最高6.2亿韩元PoC资金用于建筑自动化、AI与机器人创业项目验证

Lotte E&C is expanding technology verification for startups in construction automation, artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics through cooperation with public agencies.
Lotte E&C said on the 23rd that it has secured proof-of-concept (PoC) funding of up to 620 million won through open innovation support programs hosted by the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA).
Lotte E&C applied for five collaborative projects across three open innovation programs announced by KISED this year, and all were selected. In the mutual autonomous exploration project under the public-private open innovation support program, the company will conduct on-site verification with construction automation startup Spanner through January next year. Through "Innowave," an ultra-gap startup program, it will verify residential performance improvement technologies, including reducing floor impact noise in apartment complexes, with Regen T&I through December. Three projects adopted under the strategic task resolution program — an autonomous driving robot for material transport, control of autonomous and remote earthwork heavy equipment, and AI-based intelligent monitoring — will begin technology verification after partner startups are selected next month.
Three companies were also finalized in a startup support program operated jointly with the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). In cooperation with Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu, Lotte E&C selected Double S&DT, which holds AI-based supervision record management technology; Friktech, which developed defect detection technology based on AI indoor positioning; and MobilityOne, which holds integrated control technology for heterogeneous robots. These companies will verify supervision record management, defect detection and integrated robot control technologies at Lotte E&C's actual construction sites through November.
"Construction automation, AI and robotics technologies are emerging as core competitive advantages for the future construction industry," a Lotte E&C official said. "Through cooperation with public agencies, we will identify startups with outstanding technological capabilities and lead innovation in smart construction technology."
