HD Hyundai Electric (267260.KS) reported second-quarter revenue of 1.1418 trillion won and operating profit of 287 billion won, the company said in a regulatory filing on the 28th.
Amid its early positioning in power equipment for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers in North America, revenue rose 16% from the same period a year earlier, while operating profit increased 37.3%.
Supported by pricing negotiation conditions favorable to suppliers, the operating profit margin for the second quarter reached 25.1%, up 2.0 percentage points from a year earlier.
