LS Corp.获得日本JCR A0稳定信用评级

LS Corp. has secured a credit rating of "A0 (stable)" from JCR, a leading Japanese credit rating agency, demonstrating strong financial soundness in the global capital market.
LS (006260.KS) said on the 20th that it received an A0 rating from JCR. Typically, Korean companies that receive an A0 rating from JCR hold a domestic credit rating of around "AA-."
Although LS holds an "A+" rating, one notch below that level, it earned an A0 from JCR, drawing an exceptional assessment. JCR said, "LS holds core operating subsidiaries with solid market competitiveness, including LS Cable & System, LS Electric, and LS MnM, giving it strong defensive capabilities against economic fluctuations." It added, "Through preemptive risk management and strategic portfolio diversification, LS has secured stable earnings-generating capacity on a consolidated basis."
Recently, Korea's three major credit rating agencies also uniformly raised LS's rating outlook to "positive," reflecting strong performance driven by the expansion of global artificial intelligence (AI) data centers and increased investment in power infrastructure. LS plans to use this assessment as an opportunity to expand loan agreements with Japanese banks and improve its financing terms. An LS official said, "We will diversify our global financing channels and optimize funding costs to maximize financial efficiency."
