三星电子启动 Galaxy AI Class 第二学期报名，计划再覆盖约7万名中小学生

Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) is accepting applications from classes for the second semester of its Galaxy AI Class program, which lets elementary and middle school students experience artificial intelligence in an accessible, engaging format.
Applications open on Sept. 14 for upper-grade elementary and middle school classes nationwide, the company said on the 13th.
Launched in earnest in the first semester of last year, Galaxy AI Class is a hands-on program in which lead and assistant instructors visit schools in person and teach using Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Teachers apply on a class-by-class basis through Samsung.com, and participating classes are selected after discussions on scheduling and preferred subjects.
Samsung has revamped the curriculum starting this second semester to build students' ability to put AI to use. The first period introduces a new course called "AI Fundamentals," which covers the basic principles of AI, ethics and appropriate use through both theory and practice. The second period, "Galaxy AI Practicum," has been reorganized into five subjects: careers, drawing, the environment, history and travel. Each participating class picks one subject and takes part in activities linking AI technology to its own area of interest. In the careers course, students use AI to explore their strengths and interests and build a vision board, while the environment course has them analyze climate and environmental issues and develop ideas for a sustainable future.
Samsung said about 175,000 students at roughly 1,000 schools completed Galaxy AI Class between 2025 and the first semester of this year. In a satisfaction survey covering the first semester, 94.5% of students and 99.8% of teachers said they were satisfied.
The company plans to teach about 70,000 more students in the second semester, lifting cumulative participation over two years to more than 250,000. "This is a program designed so that students can experience AI easily and enjoyably rather than finding it difficult," said Lim Sung-taek, executive vice president and head of Samsung Electronics' Korea operations. "We will keep developing it in a direction that strengthens AI skills and creative hands-on activities."
