不做 Celltrion(068270.KS)

Celltrion (068270.KS) has filed a global Phase 3 clinical trial plan for its subcutaneous infliximab formulation "CT-P13 SC (Zymfentra)" in patients with rheumatoid arthritis with the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the company said in a regulatory filing on the 24th.
The trial is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CT-P13 SC in patients with moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis.
Celltrion plans to conduct the Phase 3 trial in a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, parallel-group design involving a total of 296 patients. The treatment period is 52 weeks.
The primary objective of the trial is to demonstrate that CT-P13 SC shows superior efficacy compared to placebo based on "ACR50," which represents a 50% improvement in symptoms according to American College of Rheumatology criteria, at week 12 of treatment.
CT-P13 SC was developed as a subcutaneous formulation of the infliximab biosimilar "Remsima IV." Unlike the intravenous injection method that requires a hospital visit, it can be administered subcutaneously, enhancing patient convenience in dosing.
CT-P13 SC has completed Phase 3 trials in adult patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease and has obtained marketing approval in several countries, including the United States and Europe.
Through this Phase 3 trial, Celltrion plans to expand the indications for CT-P13 SC to rheumatoid arthritis, following its existing use for inflammatory bowel disease.
