有韩与K-MEDI Hub签署创新药研发合作MOU

Yuhan (000100) is joining forces with K-MEDI Hub to expand its pipeline of innovative drugs. The two sides plan to combine their drug development capabilities and advanced research infrastructure to broaden cooperation from the discovery of promising candidate compounds through joint research.
Yuhan said on the 1st that it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation, known as K-MEDI Hub, on August 31 to strengthen its innovative drug pipeline.
The agreement was pursued to expand opportunities for joint research on promising drug candidates and to help strengthen the competitiveness of the country's pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry by linking Yuhan's drug development capabilities with K-MEDI Hub's advanced drug development research infrastructure and technical support system.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in a range of areas, including identifying and carrying out joint drug research projects, strengthening research and development capabilities through exchanges of research personnel, providing mutual technical support such as research facilities and advanced equipment, and building a medical industry network.
Yuhan in particular plans to make active use of K-MEDI Hub's research personnel and advanced research infrastructure to further strengthen its open innovation strategy, and to expand the partnership into substantive joint research and technology cooperation in line with specific future needs.

"Through cooperation with K-MEDI Hub, we hope to effectively combine the strengths of both organizations and lead to the discovery of promising drug development projects and the creation of research and development results."
