不做 亚马逊(AMZN.US)
不做 NEW(160550.KS)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced that it will establish a new organization, AWS Forward Deployed Engineering (AWS FDE), which will assign specialized AI engineers directly to customer organizations to jointly develop and rapidly deploy agentic AI solutions. AWS plans to invest $1 billion in the initiative.
Several AI companies have already adopted similar models. Palantir has long embedded engineers with enterprise customers, while OpenAI and Anthropic have established dedicated entities through joint ventures with private equity firms to accelerate enterprise AI adoption. OpenAI invested $500 million in its joint venture, The Deployment Company, where it holds a majority stake. Anthropic, together with Blackstone and other partners, has launched a similar enterprise AI deployment venture valued at approximately $1.5 billion.
AWS said specialized engineers are essential for building enterprise-specific agentic AI systems and helping organizations become AI-native. The company highlighted three key differentiators of its FDE model: prioritizing agentic AI technologies, reducing deployment timelines from months to days, and enabling customers to operate AI systems independently after deployment is complete.
According to AWS, the FDE organization will be staffed by engineers who have developed the company's AI services. AWS said its frontier engineering teams, together with purpose-built AI agents, will work directly within customer organizations, collaborating with business, engineering, and security teams to build and deploy production-ready AI systems based on each customer's data, governance framework, and operational processes.
The company said the approach will also strengthen customers' internal engineering capabilities. As projects progress, customer engineers are expected to evolve from observers to co-builders and ultimately to independent operators of the deployed systems.
AWS also said the organization will leverage agentic deployment technologies and an AI-driven development lifecycle. Rather than simply adding AI tools to existing workflows, the model uses AI agents to accelerate every stage of the software development lifecycle while human engineers validate and guide the process.
