未来资产生命保险新增韩美中半导体ETF投连选项

Mirae Asset Life Insurance (085620) said on the 13th that it has added three exchange-traded funds (ETFs) investing in the Korean, U.S. and Chinese semiconductor markets to broaden investment options for variable insurance customers. The move is intended to widen choices for customers seeking to invest in the growth of the semiconductor industry while utilizing the long-term investment structure of insurance.
The newly added funds are the [Index ETF] Korea Semiconductor, [Index ETF] U.S. Semiconductor and [Index ETF] China Semiconductor. Through these, variable insurance subscribers can expand their investment targets beyond Korea to major semiconductor markets such as the United States and China, and pursue regional diversification.
The [Index ETF] Korea Semiconductor is managed based on the FnGuide Semiconductor TOP10 Index, composed of 10 leading semiconductor companies listed on the domestic stock market. It diversifies investment across Samsung Electronics and SK hynix, as well as semiconductor equipment and materials companies such as Hanmi Semiconductor and Leeno Industrial.
The [Index ETF] U.S. Semiconductor tracks the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index, composed of about 30 global semiconductor companies listed on the U.S. stock market. It invests in leading global semiconductor companies including Nvidia, AMD, Micron, Broadcom and Intel, with the won-dollar exchange rate reflected in returns.
The [Index ETF] China Semiconductor tracks the FactSet China Semiconductor Index, composed of 21 core semiconductor companies listed on the Chinese stock market. It is structured to invest across China's semiconductor industry, incorporating AI chip design firms Cambricon and Hygon, foundry company SMIC, semiconductor equipment maker NAURA and memory chip company GigaDevice.
With this addition, Mirae Asset Life expanded its investment options by adding a semiconductor theme to its existing global fund lineup. The company held a leading position in the industry with a 19.8% variable insurance market share last year. Amid the recent stock market boom that has expanded the variable insurance market, the company was tallied as holding 19 variable funds (as of the end of June) that recorded one-year returns of more than 100%.
