Q2收入miss($4.1M vs est $7.8M)和持续亏损($55.4M净亏损)构成基本面拖累。

AbCellera Biologics Inc. (ABCL), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing antibody-based medicines, recently reported second-quarter 2026 financial results and provided updates across its clinical pipeline and strategic collaborations.
For the second quarter of 2026, AbCellera reported revenue of $4.1 million, compared with $17.1 million in the prior year quarter.
Research and development expenses increased to $46.0 million from $39.2 million, while sales, general and administrative expenses declined to $13.9 million from $22.0 million.
Net loss widened to $55.4 million, or $0.18 per share, compared with a net loss of $34.7 million, or $0.12 per share, in the second quarter 2025.
AbCellera ended the quarter with more than $565 million in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities.
Including $110 million in available non-dilutive government funding, total available liquidity exceeded $675 million.
Pipeline and collaboration highlights included:
ABCL635: The company completed enrollment in its Phase 2 study evaluating ABCL635 for moderate-to-severe vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause, with top-line results expected in August 2026.
Subsequent results showed that ABCL635 met its primary efficacy endpoints, producing statistically significant reductions in both the frequency and severity of hot flashes at Week 4 compared with placebo following a single 600 mg subcutaneous dose.
Patients receiving ABCL635 experienced an average reduction of 8.8 moderate-to-severe events per day compared with 3.5 for placebo, while severity scores declined by 1.4 points versus 0.3 for placebo.
The treatment was generally well tolerated, with no serious adverse events or discontinuations reported.
ABCL575: AbCellera completed dosing in the Phase 1 study of ABCL575, with top-line data expected in the fourth quarter 2026.
ABCL386 and ABCL688: Both programs continue to advance through IND-enabling activities.
Jazz Collaboration: AbCellera entered a collaboration with Jazz Pharmaceuticals to discover and develop next-generation T-cell engagers for gastrointestinal cancers and other solid tumors.
The agreement includes $84 million in upfront payments and potential milestone payments of up to $792 million per program, plus tiered royalties.
Vertex Collaboration: In July, AbCellera announced a collaboration with Vertex Pharmaceuticals to research, develop, manufacture and commercialize multispecific T-cell engagers for autoimmune diseases and other conditions.
The agreement includes $28 million in upfront payments, along with potential milestones and royalties.
At the end of the second quarter, AbCellera's partners were advancing 35 programs in which the company held downstream economic interests, including 12 molecules in the clinic that were understood to be progressing as of June 30, 2026.
AbCellera said the new collaborations with Jazz and Vertex strengthen its T-cell engager platform while providing additional upfront capital to support the company's strategy.
ABCL has traded between $2.74 and $12.38 over the past year. ABCL shares are currently trading at $12.40, up 16.78%.
