Netmarble游戏博物馆推出韩国PC游戏常设展

The Netmarble Game Museum is presenting its first special exhibition, "Press Start, Korean PC Game Stage."
The Netmarble Culture Foundation said on the 4th that the Netmarble Game Museum, which opened in March last year, is holding a permanent exhibition that revisits the historical value of "Korean PC games." The exhibition covers Korea's gaming industry, including the golden age of console games in the 1980s and the dawn of online gaming in the 2000s. It has restored chronological panels that trace history from the 1990s through the 2000s and beyond, and also displays showcases of actual masterpiece package titles from each era. In addition, the museum presents a keyword exhibition covering the footprints of Korean PC games, including "people, content, technology, and localization."
The Netmarble Culture Foundation recently reorganized its existing library space, and it separated the space secured by removing movable walls into a "book reading area" and an "exhibition area," redeveloping it into a complex cultural space. The Netmarble Game Museum is a comprehensive game museum that opened at the Netmarble G Tower in Guro-gu, Seoul. It displays about 2,000 game-related items that Netmarble collected itself or received as donations from citizens and employees, and it also has a space where visitors can experience the game development process.
The Netmarble Culture Foundation said, "We will continue to expand our role in recording and preserving gaming culture," adding, "We will keep developing it into a space that visitors who have come once want to visit again, and a museum that is good for families to visit together."
