POSCO集团启动2026年下半年应届生招聘，新增AI工程师岗位

POSCO Group has begun recruiting entry-level employees for the second half of the year, planning to hire in the triple digits, with a sharp expansion in openings for advanced technology fields such as artificial intelligence and robotics to support the group's "triple core" strategy centered on industry, strategy and energy resources.
Six units are taking part: the Future Technology Research Institute under POSCO Holdings, POSCO, POSCO International, POSCO DX, POSCO E&C and the Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology (RIST), the group said on the 3rd. Openings span more than 60 job functions, including production and facility engineering, sales and marketing, safety and health, and AI. Applications will be accepted through the group's recruitment website until 3 p.m. on the 16th.
The group is placing particular weight on securing specialists to drive AI transformation and digital transformation across manufacturing sites and office operations. The Future Technology Research Institute will recruit researchers in robot perception and control, while POSCO and POSCO DX plan to bring in a large number of AI specialists to lead automation at steel mills and improve workplace efficiency. POSCO has created a new "AI engineer" position to advance innovation and automation in steelmaking processes and will actively add staff in the role.
The application process has also been redesigned to focus on verifying job-related capabilities. POSCO has scrapped its standardized cover letter questions and introduced a new section on activities inside and outside school, in which applicants describe their actual experience and skills. The aim is to let candidates write freely about the experiences and activities they undertook to build job-related capabilities and highlight their own strengths.
The group will hold online and offline information sessions during the recruitment period and arrange consultation events featuring employees currently working in the relevant fields.
