关键理由
- 事件方向对LG Innotek和TDK偏正面,但只是联合研发与2027年商业化目标,未披露订单、客户定点、收入分成或量产规模。
- LG Innotek(011070.KS)事件日收盘反而大跌16.29%,TDK(6762.JP)当日下跌2.81%,市场未按短线硬催化重定价。

LG Innotek (011070.KS) is targeting the physical artificial intelligence (AI) market together with Japanese global electronic components company TDK. Under the plan, LG Innotek, which holds optical technology, and TDK, which has diverse sensor technologies, will jointly develop core components that serve as the "eyes" and "skin" of robots.
LG Innotek said on the 28th that it had signed a strategic partnership with TDK in the physical AI field. The core of this collaboration is the combination of LG Innotek's ultra-precision design capabilities and TDK's advanced sensor technologies, including inertial and positional sensors. Through this, the two companies have set a goal of commercializing next-generation vision sensing modules and tactile sensing modules by 2027.
The next-generation vision sensing module is a product that goes beyond simple visual information, integrating and processing data such as a robot's movement and sound to maximize surroundings recognition performance. For example, a TDK inertial measurement unit (IMU) is mounted on the vision sensing module to instantly correct image shaking that occurs when a robot moves. Robot manufacturers can lower costs and design burdens with a single integrated module, without needing to purchase multiple sensors separately.
The two companies will also begin joint development of a tactile sensing module that serves as a robot's skin. Mounted on a robot's hand or body to detect fine contact and pressure, this component requires highly advanced technology such as ultra-precision and flexible structures, making it difficult to develop. By combining LG Innotek's digital signal processing technology with TDK's tactile sensing technology, they plan to introduce high-value-added components optimized for work environments.
The growth outlook for the physical AI market is bright. According to market research firm Grand View Research, the global physical AI market is expected to grow rapidly at an annual average of 36.1%, from $81.6 billion (about 110 trillion won) in 2025 to $960.4 billion (about 1,296 trillion won) in 2033. The tactile sensor market, used in electronic skin and other applications, is also expected to expand from $3.68 billion to $21.5 billion over the same period.
LG Innotek, which has collaborated with global big tech firms by leveraging existing cameras, LiDAR, and radar, is accelerating its move to secure an early lead in the market through this partnership. "Multi-sensing that combines numerous sensors will draw significant attention in the robotics field," LG Innotek President Moon Hyuk-soo said. "Through our collaboration with TDK, we will lead the ecosystem for core robot components." TDK President Noboru Saito also responded, "By combining the two companies' technologies, we will introduce products that will change the game in the market."
