Kumho Tire (073240.KS) reported consolidated revenue of 1.3328 trillion won and operating profit of 182.2 billion won for the second quarter of 2026, the company said on the 30th. Revenue rose 9.1% from a year earlier. With this result, Kumho Tire has posted quarterly revenue of more than 1 trillion won for 11 consecutive quarters since the fourth quarter of 2023. Operating profit increased 4% year-on-year.
Kumho Tire said its performance improved as supply of original equipment tires grew, centered on the North American and European markets, and sales of replacement tires, including high-margin products, increased.
Sales of high-inch products of 18 inches or larger accounted for 47% in the second quarter. The share of electric vehicle tire supply in global original equipment tire revenue reached 25.1%.
Through its earnings guidance for this year, Kumho Tire had set targets of revenue of 5.1 trillion won, a 47% share for high-inch products of 18 inches or larger, and a 30% share for electric vehicle tire supply.
