UK-listed Genel Energy (GENL.L) rejected DNO's (DNO.OL) £202 million ($271.8 million) takeover proposal, the Norwegian oil firm said on Friday.
DNO, which is in partnership with Genel in the Tawke field in Iraq's Kurdistan region, proposed 69 pence per share in cash in the bid.
This comes after Genel agreed in-principle to buy Capricorn Energy (CNE.L) in a $360 million all-cash deal in early July, even as other suitors for Egypt-focused Capricorn continue to circle the firm.
Genel did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment.
