The partners will also step up engineering cooperation aimed at applying AI technology at actual industrial sites. They plan to run a regular technology exchange program involving NAVER Cloud's Vietnam development center and head office engineers along with FPT engineers.
At customer sites, they will jointly take on tasks such as optimizing GPU infrastructure, improving AI inference performance and building AI agents into live service environments. The strategy goes beyond simply supplying GPU resources to supporting the process of applying AI to actual services tailored to each company's environment.
Kim You-won, chief executive of NAVER Cloud, said the partnership allows the company to combine the AI technology and experience it has accumulated with FPT's AI factory and enterprise business capabilities. "Based on both companies' technology and business capabilities, we will build cooperation that responds to customers' diverse AI needs across the Asia-Pacific market beyond Korea and Vietnam and connects that to real business results," she said.
Le Hong Viet, chief executive of FPT Smart Cloud, said FPT has continuously strengthened its AI cloud capabilities around its AI factory and has built a foundation for applying AI technology to real business based on engineering experience accumulated in multiple markets. "Through cooperation with NAVER Cloud, we will expand customers' use of AI models and together create new ways for companies in the Asia-Pacific region and globally to turn AI into tangible business results," he said.
