The agreement is another win for Elon Musk in the aviation market following contracts with British Airways owner IAG SA, Emirates and United Airlines Holdings Inc, among other airlines.
Ryanair Holdings Plc CEO Michael O’Leary got into a public spat earlier this year with Musk after saying that the weight and drag from Starlink’s antenna on the aircraft cabin’s roof will increase fuel costs, making it an undesirable addition for the Irish low-cost airline.
