Bayer Seeks to Move Roundup Settlement Hearing to September
Bayer AG’s Monsanto and plaintiff attorneys asked to postpone a hearing where a Missouri judge will weigh whether to approve a $7.25 billion settlement of thousands of US lawsuits alleging Roundup weedkiller caused cancer.
The parties issued a joint filing requesting that the hearing be delayed to Sept. 10 from Aug. 19. The postponement will help the parties process opt-out revocation requests that have been received by the administrator, according to Bayer.
