Kraft Heinz Co. raised its full year 2026 outlook for sales and profits, citing momentum in its efforts to turn around some of its lagging brands.
The maker of Kraft Mac & Cheese and Heinz Ketchup said it now sees adjusted earnings per share between $2.03 and $2.09 in 2026, up from its prior guidance. The company also said it expected full-year organic net sales to be down 0.5% to 2%, also better than an earlier view.
The improved outlook highlights Kraft Heinz’s optimism that it is starting to revitalize growth in some of its struggling brands with new products and company investments. Earlier this year, Chief Executive Officer Steve Cahillane halted the company’s plans to split into two entities, saying he thought the food maker could be turned around with a $600 million infusion into research and development, marketing and better deals. On Wednesday, he said the company was investing an additional $100 million.
“We have seen that our brands respond well when we invest behind them,” Cahillane said in a statement.
Shares of Kraft Heinz were little changed in premarket trading. The stock had risen almost 10% year to date as of Tuesday’s close, compared with an 13% rise in the S&P 500.
In the second quarter, the company reported adjusted earnings per share of 56 cents, above analysts’ expectations.
