Craig Mineard is joining Truist Financial Corp.’s investment bank from Jefferies Financial Group Inc. to co-head the firm’s technology media and telecom group.
Mineard will work alongside co-head Thomas Wilson in leading the Truist Securities’ industry coverage team, according to a statement reviewed by Bloomberg News.
He was most recently global joint head of media, communications and information services investment banking at Jefferies, where he helped build the franchise advising data and information services companies in the US and Europe.
“Truist Securities has built a strong, client-centered investment banking platform with deep industry expertise and a clear commitment to growth,” Mineard said.
Wilson joined Truist in May after eight years at Jefferies, where he was a managing director in the TMT group.
A representative for Jefferies declined to comment.
