ExxonMobil(XOM.US)

Guyana’s crude oil exports are set to surpass 1 million barrels a day for the first time when the country starts shipping its Uaru grade in December.
Uaru exports are scheduled at 4 million barrels that month, according to a loading program seen by Bloomberg. That will boost Guyana’s total monthly shipments to 33 million barrels, equivalent to about 1.06 million barrels a day.
The ramp-up will be welcomed by the market after the Iran war squeezed supplies from the Middle East this year, driving up prices for crude and fuels and fanning inflationary pressures around the world. Guyana already pumps four other crude grades after starting commercial oil production in 2019.
The first cargo of Uaru, produced by the Errea Wittu floating production vessel, is due to load on Dec. 11-12, the program shows.
It’ll mark another milestone in Guyana’s rapid emergence as a major oil producer. ExxonMobil Holdings Corp.’s Liza project began production almost seven years ago, and three more oil developments have since come online. Yellowtail, the country’s fourth project, started operations in September last year.
The $12.7 billion Errea Wittu vessel, built by Modec Inc., has a nameplate production capacity of 250,000 barrels a day, according to the company’s website.
Scheduled exports of other Guyana grades in December are as follows:
Liza crude loadings are set at three cargoes, unchanged from November; equates to 97k b/d vs 100k b/d in November Unity Gold exports are set at eight cargoes for December, one more more than November; equates to 258k b/d vs 233k b/d in November Payara Gold loadings will be nine cargoes in December vs eight in November; equates to 290k b/d vs 267k b/d in November Golden Arrowhead unchanged at nine cargoes; equates to 290k b/d vs 300k b/d in November All cargoes are 1m bbl each
