CSOP NVIDIA Daily Max 2x Leveraged Product(07788.HK)
CSOP NVIDIA Daily Max 2x Leveraged Product(09788.HK)

Technology names led a rally in US stocks before the bell on Tuesday as bond yields and oil prices dropped.
Contracts on the Nasdaq 100 Index gained 0.9% at 7:58 a.m. in New York. Nvidia Corp. was among the notable gainers as the chipmaker was positioned to snap its longest losing streak since 2022 ahead of reporting results Wednesday evening. Futures for the S&P 500 Index, meanwhile, climbed 0.4%.
Brent fell to about $89 per barrel as a US plan to ramp up economic pressure on Iran has spared the country’s trading partners from harsher measures for now.
“The shift in mood has been helped by the decline in the oil price,” said Kathleen Brooks, research director at XTB. “There is also hope that Nvidia’s results, released on Wednesday night, will refresh the AI trade.”
Artificial intelligence-linked stocks were a big contributor to Monday’s declines, with names such as Micron Technology Inc., Seagate Technology Holdings Plc, Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and Western Digital Corp. all falling alongside Nvidia.
Results from Nvidia will be watched closely as traders will attempt to check the health of the AI trade. However, there has been concern that simply posting good numbers will not be enough for the world’s biggest company based on market value.
“Nvidia’s upcoming results have the power to move markets up or down, with investors looking for clues on whether AI demand is losing momentum,” said Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell.
Tuesday also marks the start of an economic data-heavy week. Consumer confidence figures will be released at 10 a.m. New York time, with Bloomberg Economics expecting a drop in August amid renewed concerns about the labor market and inflation.
Friday will be the annual Jackson Hole Symposium, where Kevin Warsh will deliver his first major speech as Federal Reserve chairman. Warsh faces criticism that he has not been forthright about his views on the economy.
While investors cannot be blamed for wanting clarity, IG’s Chris Beauchamp noted that “such hopes are likely to be dashed,” given Warsh’s preference for remaining “tight-lipped.”
“The hawks on the FOMC continue to squawk loudly, but the chances of a hold are sticking firmly around 60%, and the speech is unlikely to move this much,” said Beauchamp.
In single-stock moves, Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. dropped after the retailer lowered its full-year outlook amid weakness at its recently acquired Foot Locker unit. Navitas Semiconductor Corp. gained after announcing an agreement to acquire Claros Inc.
