CJ CheilJedang推出高端蒸馏酒品牌jari并计划秋季进入美国

CJ CheilJedang said on the 19th that it is introducing its premium distilled spirits brand "jari" to the global market.
CJ CheilJedang recently held a launch event at the Korea Furniture Museum in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, unveiling two products: "Jari Munbaeju 24" and "Jari Gamuchi 24." The event was attended by CJ CheilJedang officials, including Lee Sun-ho, head of CJ Group's Future Planning Group, along with figures from Korea's F&B and cultural industries.
Jari Munbaeju 24 is made from "Munbaeju," a national intangible cultural heritage that has preserved a traditional brewing method passed down over five generations, aged in earthenware pots through all four seasons. Jari Gamuchi 24 is made by aging "Gamuchi" soju, a Korean traditional rice soju reinterpreted through modern distillation methods, in earthenware pots. Both products have an alcohol content of 24 percent. CJ CheilJedang plans to introduce "jari" primarily through domestic premium restaurants and fine dining channels, before expanding into the U.S. market this fall.
"Through jari, we plan to increase points of contact with global consumers based on synergy with K-food and demonstrate new possibilities for Korean food culture," a CJ CheilJedang official said.
