新韩金融集团为女性领导力项目「Shinhan SHeroes」约70名学员举办特别领导力讲座

Shinhan Financial Group said on the 28th that it held a special leadership lecture for about 70 participants in "Shinhan SHeroes," the group's development program for women leaders, at its headquarters in Jung-gu, central Seoul.
Shinhan Financial has run the annual lecture series with continued backing from Group Chairman Jin Ok-dong, who has made developing women leaders a priority. This year's speakers were Suh Hee-tae, music director and principal conductor of the KNN Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, and Lee Yeon-im, chair of the National Pension Service's Committee on Fiduciary Responsibility.
Suh drew on experience conducting orchestras to discuss leadership that brings together the capabilities of individual members to produce results. Lee shared experience in responsible decision-making and organizational management, drawing on a career that included time at the Korea Financial Investment Association.
Participants said the two lectures gave them new perspectives on organizational management and leadership, and prompted them to consider how to grow as women leaders.
Shinhan SHeroes was launched in 2018 as the first program of its kind in South Korea's financial industry. Through last year, it had selected a total of 390 women leaders for training, mentoring and coaching programs.
"We hope this lecture serves as an opportunity for our women leaders to gain new perspectives through leadership examples from a range of fields," a Shinhan Financial official said. "We will continue to actively support women professionals in growing into core leaders who guide the organization, through distinctive training and networking opportunities."
