不做 EcoPro HN(383310.KS)
不做 三星E&A(028050.KS)

- ZDNet Korea
- The Elec

33 billion-won contract covers installation at domestic semiconductor facility

EcoPro HN announced on July 27 that it has signed a Regenerative Catalytic System (RCS) supply agreement with Samsung E&A.
The contract is valued at 33 billion won, and the system will be installed at a domestic semiconductor manufacturing facility in South Korea.
RCS is a high-capacity greenhouse gas abatement system designed to treat perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) generated during semiconductor manufacturing. PFCs are key targets for reduction in chip production because their global warming potential is thousands to tens of thousands of times higher than that of carbon dioxide (CO₂).
EcoPro HN said its catalyst-based RCS technology processes PFCs at relatively low temperatures of 750–800°C. Compared with traditional thermal decomposition systems requiring ultra-high temperatures of 1,300–1,400°C, RCS reduces energy consumption by approximately 95%.
The company plans to expand its customer base across the global semiconductor market, including North America, in tandem with the overseas expansion of domestic chipmakers' production facilities.
"This contract demonstrates market recognition of our greenhouse gas abatement technology and equipment reliability," an EcoPro HN official said. "We will continue expanding our client base both domestically and globally."
