HD Hyundai (267250.KS) said on the 1st that it will provide 20 mid-size excavators along with relief supplies including blankets, tableware, hygiene products and tarpaulins to Nepal's Bagmati Province, a central-northern region hit hard by flooding.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the people of Nepal, who have suffered severe damage," an HD Hyundai official said. "We hope this support offers at least some help to affected residents and that they can return to peaceful daily life as soon as possible."
HD Hyundai has carried out relief efforts on a continuing basis, supplying equipment and personnel and delivering donations to areas struck by large-scale natural disasters, including the 2023 earthquake in Turkey, an earthquake in Ecuador, a typhoon in the Philippines and flooding in Brazil.
