The share placement is linked to NEXUS’s additional acquisition of ONE store shares. KT and LG Uplus signed share purchase agreements with NEXUS for their ONE store holdings on Sept. 10. The transaction is scheduled to close, with payment to be made, on Sept. 14.
NEXUS previously acquired an 89.03% stake in ONE store in June from SK Square, Naver and other shareholders. Existing ONE store shareholders, including SK Square and Naver, also became investors in NEXUS at the time.
