雷克萨斯韩国开启全新一代ES预售，首次推出BEV版本（ES 350e/500e），10月13日正式上市

Lexus Korea said it began taking preorders for the all-new ES premium sedan at official Lexus dealerships nationwide on the 14th, ahead of the model's official launch on Oct. 13.
The all-new ES is the eighth-generation full model change, offering nine grades in total: four hybrid grades and five battery electric grades, the first BEV versions ever offered in the ES line. Lexus strengthened the hybrid lineup while adding battery electric models to widen the range of electrified choices depending on how customers drive.
The new BEV lineup consists of the front-wheel-drive ES 350e and the all-wheel-drive ES 500e. The ES 350e delivers a combined range of 478 kilometers on a single charge at normal temperatures under domestic certification standards, covering everything from daily city driving to long-distance trips. The ES 500e uses Direct4, an all-wheel-drive system that precisely controls front and rear drive force, for strong output and stable handling.
The ES 350h hybrid uses Lexus' sixth-generation hybrid system. The company redesigned the power control unit and transaxle to make them smaller and lighter. Lexus also added an all-wheel-drive model to the ES hybrid lineup, expanding choices according to driving conditions and customer lifestyles.
The all-new ES is built on the GA-K platform, newly designed to accommodate both BEV and hybrid powertrains. Lexus increased body rigidity at the front, floor and rear to reduce vibration while delivering intuitive steering response and smooth acceleration and deceleration. A multilink rear suspension provides a comfortable and stable ride.
Developed under the concept of "a sedan experience completed through elegance and electrification," the model carries over the ES line's signature elegance while introducing a new design and interior suited to the electrification era. The exterior features a Spindle Body, a reinterpretation of the Lexus spindle design, creating a dynamic silhouette.
Inside, a larger body and longer wheelbase create a roomier cabin than the previous model. Features include a 14-inch display, Responsive Hidden Switches that appear only when needed, and Multi Ambient Lighting that can set various moods.
The car also comes with the latest Lexus Safety System+ and Lexus Connect, which provides 24-hour emergency calling and remote control functions.
Suggested retail prices for the all-new ES BEV lineup, including value-added tax and based on a 5% individual consumption tax, are 71.6 million won ($51,500) for the ES 350e Premium, 80.2 million won for the ES 350e Luxury, 83.9 million won for the ES 350e VIP, 77 million won for the ES 500e Premium and 84.9 million won for the ES 500e Luxury.
For the hybrid lineup, prices are 72.9 million won for the ES 350h Premium, 77.8 million won for the ES 350h Luxury, 75.9 million won for the ES 350h AWD Premium and 80.8 million won for the ES 350h AWD Luxury. Lexus Korea is also offering Amazing Switch, an installment program that guarantees residual value, to help make purchases more affordable.

"We will provide electrified options that match the diverse lifestyles and driving environments of our customers."
