HancomWITH向日本初创企业代表展示AI安全解决方案

HancomWITH (054920), which is expanding into the Japanese market, showcased its artificial intelligence (AI)-based security solutions to representatives of promising Japanese startups.
HancomWITH said on the 16th that a delegation of 16 Japanese startup executives visited its headquarters in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, last week. The visit by the Japanese companies was part of the "Korea-Japan Nikkei Open Innovation Cooperation Day," co-hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Nihon Keizai Shimbun (Nikkei). HancomWITH was selected as a company for the program "Visits to Korea's Leading AI and ICT Companies and Introduction of Technologies and Business Models" to receive the delegation. Attendees included officials from KOTRA and Nikkei, as well as executives from 10 startups that won awards under Nikkei's startup and new business discovery program "Nikkei The Pitch."
HancomWITH introduced and demonstrated its major solutions, including the facial recognition solution "Hancom OS," the unaware continuous authentication solution "Hancom XCOS," and the TLS/SSL certificate automation management solution "Hancom UCLM."
HancomWITH also shared the status of the local business it is pursuing in Japan's financial and public sectors. In Japan, the adoption of non-face-to-face identity verification and biometric authentication technologies is increasing, centered on the financial, public, and telecommunications sectors. HancomWITH has designated the Japanese market as a key base for its overseas expansion and is conducting technology reviews and business model discussions with local partners and potential clients.
As if to prove the growing demand for digital transformation (DX) in Japan, Japanese business officials also expressed interest in HancomWITH's solutions. Participating companies in the delegation asked about HancomWITH's business direction, inquiring, "Do you also have the intention to establish partnerships with small and medium-sized enterprises?"
"Through this event, we confirmed the response of major Japanese companies to HancomWITH's AI and next-generation security solutions," said HancomWITH CEO Song Sang-yeop. "Using this meeting as an opportunity, we will continue to engage with innovative Japanese companies and build practical business cooperation models."
