KAI's exhibition booth at the Marrakech Air Show 2026 in Morocco.
Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) is seeking to expand exports of its FA-50 aircraft as it targets Morocco's advanced trainer aircraft procurement program. The company is also looking for opportunities to export fighter jets and helicopters to major countries in Africa and the Middle East.
KAI said Oct. 8 that it is participating in the Marrakech Air Show 2026, held in Marrakech, Morocco, from Oct. 7 to 10. It is the only South Korean company taking part in the event.
KAI has set up a dedicated exhibition space for the FA-50 in consideration of the Moroccan Air Force's advanced trainer aircraft procurement program. The FA-50 is an aircraft capable of performing both advanced training and light combat missions. KAI plans to highlight its previous export and operational experience in countries including Poland, the Philippines and Malaysia.
The exhibition booth also features the Korean fighter KF-21, the Marine Attack Helicopter (MAH) and the armed helicopter MIRON.
During the event, KAI plans to meet with government and military officials from Morocco, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia to discuss new export opportunities.

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) is seeking to expand exports of its FA-50 aircraft as it targets Morocco's advanced trainer aircraft procurement program. The company is also looking for opportunities to export fighter jets and helicopters to major countries in Africa and the Middle East.
