现代建设为木洞10团地重建项目提出高端品牌案，但核心中标预期已提前公开

Hyundai Engineering & Construction (000720) has proposed "THE H MOKDONG ESER" as the name for the rebuilt Mokdong Complex 10 in Seoul's Yangcheon District. The company said on the 4th that it is applying THE H, its premium brand, in Mokdong for the first time.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction was selected as the preferred bidder for the Mokdong Complex 10 rebuilding project. The project will replace the existing 2,160 units with 4,248 units in buildings of up to 40 stories, at an estimated construction cost of about 2.61 trillion won ($1.9 billion).
"Eser" means the number 10 in Hebrew. The company said it combined the singularity of the number 10, a symbol of completion and excellence, with education, which it described as Mokdong's core value. The aim, according to the company, is to carry the character of Mokdong as an education-centered district over more than four decades into residential value.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to extend the scope of education beyond the learning of children to all generations. It is pursuing a residential environment where residents can learn and interact in daily life regardless of generation or age, and plans to give that form through an "All Life Campus" concept.
The company had earlier said it is collaborating on the design of Mokdong Complex 10 with Morphosis, the architecture firm founded by Pritzker Prize winner Thom Mayne, and with the integrated design group Sasaki. Morphosis will reflect the planned-city characteristics and locational context of the Mokdong new town in the architecture, while Sasaki will draw on its experience designing university campuses and educational environments to help realize a "campus-like complex."
Since March, Hyundai Engineering & Construction has operated the "THE H Mokdong Lounge" near Complex 10 to introduce the brand and its housing products. It later disclosed a site visit by the Morphosis design team and its collaboration with Sasaki.
"Mokdong is a leading residential district in South Korea where the values of housing and education have grown together," an official at Hyundai Engineering & Construction said. "We will complete it as a prestigious residential complex for the next generation, reflecting the unique symbolism of Mokdong Complex 10 and the pride in education that Mokdong has built over a long period."
