关键理由

  • 正文主体是Figma产品战略、Canvas和Code Layers等功能介绍,未给出订单、收入指引或利润增量。
  • 预标APP.US对应AppLovin,而正文Figma并非AppLovin,不能据此交易APP.US。

Figma, the U.S. design software company, has declared its ambition to become a "full-stack creation platform" in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) agents. While anyone can now handle the entire design process with AI's help, this convenience is paradoxically producing similar products and organizational fragmentation. Figma's strategy is to solve these problems by advancing its "Canvas" feature, which allows developers and designers to share even code.
According to Figma on the 15th, Yuki Yamashita, Figma's Chief Product Officer (CPO), said at a press conference held the previous day at the Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, that "AI is changing the landscape of the creative process." He added, "With AI's help, anyone can handle everything alone, from conceiving a design concept to production and campaigns." In fact, according to Figma's survey, the proportion of designers participating in development nearly doubled from 21% last year to 41% this year. The proportion of developers participating in design also increased from 44% last year to 60% this year.
The problem is that active AI use instead causes organizational fragmentation. Yamashita pointed out, "Many people are creating very powerful prototypes with AI agents, but they cannot properly share them with their teams," adding that "this is because there is difficulty in bringing the code they used and sharing it with others in the organization."
The proliferation of AI agents is also increasing the importance of product differentiation. Yamashita explained, "As the use of AI agents grows, new applications are increasing exponentially, but the number of apps actually used is not much different now than it was a few years ago." He said, "In other words, the bar for differentiating products is rising."
What Figma has presented as a solution for product differentiation and organizational fragmentation is the evolution of Canvas. Canvas is Figma's tool that allows multiple users to conduct UI/UX design and share ideas on a single workspace. To advance Canvas, Figma introduced a new feature called "Code Layers" at its annual conference "Config 2026" in San Francisco, U.S., last month. Yamashita said, "In the past, code and design were worked on in separate spaces, but now code can be handled as a single layer on the Figma Canvas." He added, "We have made it possible to work on fragmented tasks in a single window."
In addition, several new features have been introduced to Canvas, including "Motion," which enables the creation of image movements previously possible only with expensive professional tools; "3D Conversion," which allows 3D expression; "Shader," which applies design elements such as Apple's "Liquid Glass"; and "Weave," which connects various AI models.
Figma has also added collaboration tools to Canvas. Notably, through the "Canvas Agent" feature, organization members can see the agents being used by one another. Earlier this month, "Generative Plugins" were also introduced, allowing users to create plugins (tools that automate repetitive design tasks) using only conversational prompts. For example, if you open Canvas and request, "Create a tool that extracts a color palette from an image," this tool appears on the workspace.
Yamashita stressed, "The moment humans are easily satisfied by AI's output, they give up their own judgment." He added, "By supporting a full-stack creation environment that completes everything from ideation to final product creation in one space, we will help humans produce outstanding results."
Woo Sang-hoon, head of Naver's Content Creation Tools Lab, who attended the conference that day as a Figma partner, also said, "Being able to do the work of another job function with AI and doing it well are different things." He said, "The more we live in an era where average results come easily, the more important it becomes to have firm taste and the ability to distinguish what is good."
