大韩航空与韩亚航空开展青少年职业教育志愿活动

Korean Air (003490) has joined Asiana Airlines (020560) in volunteer education programs aimed at younger generations.
A joint volunteer group from the two carriers held a career lecture for about 50 elementary and middle school students at Yangcheon Library in Seoul's Yangcheon District on the 29th, Korean Air said on the 31st.
A Korean Air aircraft mechanic and an Asiana Airlines flight attendant, both members of the volunteer group, served as instructors. They shared hands-on work experience, introduced various roles in the aviation industry and helped students map out concrete career plans.
One middle school student who attended the lecture said, "This special lecture broadened my understanding of the aviation field and gave me an opportunity to think more concretely about my career path."
On the 28th, volunteers from the flight operations divisions of both airlines jointly supported safety training for children in the local community. Participants learned safety rules for bicycles, kickboards and public transportation at the Magok Safety Experience Center in Seoul's Gangseo District, and took part in activities including emergency evacuation drills. They also learned how to respond to disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons and fires, and how to use fire extinguishers.
"Ahead of the launch of the integrated Korean Air in December this year, employees of both companies are continuing voluntary exchanges and putting the value of sharing into practice," a Korean Air official said. "Joint community service activities by the two airlines are bringing warmth to local communities while also serving as an opportunity to strengthen harmony and communication between the two companies, and we will continue such activities going forward."
