Ericsson Falls as Component Costs Weigh on Networks Unit
Ericsson AB’s shares fell by the most in about 18 months after the Swedish telecommunications network company said margins for its main business will come under pressure this quarter.
Higher component costs at the network business, which makes up most of Ericsson’s revenue, will weigh on profitability, outgoing Chief Executive Officer Börje Ekholm said in a statement on Tuesday.
