Google raises annual spending estimates amid rapid AI infrastructure build-out
July 23 (Reuters) - Honeywell Technologies posted a higher second-quarter profit on Thursday, benefiting from resilient demand in its industrial and building automation segments in its first earnings report since completing a historic breakup of the industrial conglomerate.
Shares of the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company rose 1.3% before the bell.
Quarterly adjusted profit came in at $1.95 per share, compared with $1.77 per share a year ago.
In February 2025, Honeywell said it would separate into three standalone companies focused on automation, aerospace and advanced materials.
Honeywell Aerospace was spun off in June, while the advanced materials business was previously separated as Solstice Advanced Materials, leaving Honeywell Technologies as a pure-play automation company focused on industrial, process and building technologies.
