Hewlett Packard Enterprise(HPE.US)
Oracle(ORCL.US)

Wall Street ends higher on Dell, Nvidia boost and a let up in oil prices, yields
HOUSTON - HPE (NYSE:HPE) announced today an expanded collaboration with Oracle to deploy HPE Juniper Networking equipment across Oracle’s AI data centers globally, according to a press release statement.
The multi-year agreement includes the deployment of HPE Juniper Networking PTX and MX routing platforms and QFX and EX switching platforms across Oracle data centers, along with networking support services. HPE Juniper Networking currently supports elements of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s data center and edge networks.
The MX and PTX routers support portions of the edge network, while QFX switches operate multiple layers of the regional data center fabric. The QFX switches will provide connectivity, load balancing, and congestion management for RoCEv2 AI backend networks.
"Oracle is building AI infrastructure at extraordinary scale, and HPE is uniquely positioned to support OCI with one of the industry’s most comprehensive networking portfolios for AI data centers," said Rami Rahim, executive vice president, president and general manager, Networking, HPE.
Mahesh Thiagarajan, executive vice president, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, stated, "HPE Juniper Networking has been an important part of our cloud architecture and now plays a key role in our AI clusters, regional data centers, and edge networks."
Oracle and HPE are collaborating on telemetry systems designed to provide visibility into device and fabric behavior. The systems aim to detect queue buildup, packet loss, traffic imbalances, and component degradation.
As part of the agreement, HPE issued Oracle warrants to purchase shares of HPE common stock. The companies did not disclose financial terms of the arrangement.
The collaboration builds on more than a decade of engineering work between Oracle and Juniper Networks, which HPE acquired.
