UBS now expects a third Fed rate hike after hot September inflation print
WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health (NYSE:CVS) announced today a collaboration with The Midlife Collective to conduct a research study examining the physical, emotional, social and life experiences of women in midlife, according to a press release statement.
The study findings will inform an upcoming documentary titled "Her Second Act," which is currently in development and co-directed by Abby Epstein and Constance Zimmer.
The research will examine health, identity, caregiving, relationships, career transitions, financial wellbeing and personal fulfillment during midlife. Approximately 75 million women in the U.S. are currently in some stage of perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause, with about 2 million women transitioning into menopause each year.
"For too long, conversations about midlife have been centered around symptoms and limitations," said Dr. Joanne Armstrong, vice president and chief medical officer of women’s health at CVS Health. "Through the work with The Midlife Collective, we will pair rigorous clinical research with powerful storytelling, elevate women’s voices, better understand their needs and bring greater awareness and education to this important stage of their health journey."
CVS Pharmacy pharmacists provide medication guidance and menopause products at approximately 7,000 locations nationwide. MinuteClinic works with the Menopause Society to train providers in menopause care. Aetna supports women through virtual care, behavioral health services and coaching programs.
In 2025, CVS Health became the first U.S. company to earn the Menopause Friendly Accreditation from MiDOViA.
The Midlife Collective is a media company and community platform focused on women and aging through storytelling, live events and creative projects.
