Goldman flags 2 memory stocks to buy amid deeper sector pullback
CULVER CITY, Calif. - ImmunityBio, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBRX) announced the publication of long-term data from its Phase 2/3 QUILT-3.032 study in the Journal of Urology, according to a press release statement. The study evaluated ANKTIVA in combination with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) in 100 patients with BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer with carcinoma in situ, with or without papillary disease.
The study reported a 71% complete response rate in patients with BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. The median duration of complete response was 26.6 months, with some responses extending beyond 53 months. More than half of responding patients in the FDA-reviewed population maintained complete responses beyond 45 months.
Among responders, 84% achieved cystectomy-free survival at 36 months. Disease-specific survival reached 98.2% at three years. The study showed 63.8% of responders maintained complete response for at least 12 months, 52.3% for at least 24 months, and 44.2% for at least 36 months. Progression-free survival remained 80.9% at three years.
In BCG refractory patients who never responded to prior treatment, the complete response rate was 66%. Four percent of responders progressed to muscle-invasive disease.
The treatment demonstrated no Grade 4 or Grade 5 treatment-related adverse events. Most treatment-related adverse events were Grade 1 or Grade 2, consisting of localized bladder symptoms. Grade 3 treatment-related adverse events occurred in 4% of patients.
ANKTIVA received FDA approval in 2024 for treating adult patients with BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer with carcinoma in situ. This month, the FDA expanded the approved indication to include patients with BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer with papillary-only disease.
The QUILT-3.032 study represents one of the longest follow-up datasets reported in this disease setting, with outcomes extending beyond five years in some patients.
